Do I need a visa if I hold a British Travel Document?
Holders of the following British travel documents (irrespective of their nationality)

• Convention Travel Documents for Refugees (1951) United Nations Convention relating to the Status of Refugees, dark blue), issued by the United Kingdom,

2.4 Refugees As a general rule, the travel document for refugees issued in accordance with the London Agreement of 15 October 1946 or the Geneva Refugee Convention of 28 July 1951 allows entry into Switzerland (see Annex EU-10) to Visa Handbook I and the SEM Supplement).

Do I need a visa to Lithuania?
There is no need to apply for visa at the Embassy of Lithuania if you:

• are recognised as a refugee in accordance with the 1951 United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, or stateless person under the terms of the 1954 United Nations Convention Relating to the Status od Stateless Persons, or other person who do not hold the nationality of any country, residing in a Member State and holding a travel document issued by the Member State, including the United Kingdom.

Holders of 1951 Geneva Refugee Convention Travel Document (Blue) and Holders of 1954 UN Convention Travel Document for Stateless (Red) issued in Great Britain can travel visa free up to 90 days. For trips longer than 90 days, they are required to apply for long stay visas.

Does your travel document say ‘Convention of 28 July 1951’ on its cover? If so, you do not need a visa if your travel document was issued by one of the countries on the list:

• Bulgaria

• Croatia

• Cyprus

• Ireland

• Romania

• United Kingdom

You can stay in the Netherlands without a visa for a maximum of 90 days in a 180-day period. You will, however, still need to meet certain requirements.

NATIONALS WHO ARE HOLDERS OF THE FOLLOWING TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
British Travel Document /blue one/ issued under the 1951 Geneva Convention,
British Travel Document /red one/ issued under the 1954 UN Convention and
British Certificate of Identity /brown one/
REQUIRE a visa for tourism and business trips.
They can apply only for a national Czech Visa and have to apply IN PERSON.

Norway

Sweden 
Travel to Sweden from 1 January 2021
From 1 January 2021, British citizens are able to travel to Sweden and other Schengen area countries for up to 90 days in a rolling 180-day period without a visa for purposes such as tourism. Find more information here.
PLEASE NOTE: if you hold a UK Travel Document, you will need a Schengen visa to travel to Sweden.

Iceland
Holders of a 1951 UN Convention UK refugee travel document now need a Schengen visa to enter Iceland (they were exempt before BREXIT).

Estonian 
Reply to an email:
You will need a Schengen visa in your passport in order to enter Estonia. Only the following UK citizens do not need a visa:
 

• Citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northen Ireland

• British nationals (Overseas)

• British overseas territories citizens (BOTC)

• British overseas citizens (BOC)

• British protected persons (BPP)

• British subjects (BS)
